Our ranch is located in the Buckingham agricultural community of Fort Myers, FL. The ranch is home to many horses and cows, as well as wild turkeys and eagles who roam the 35 acre property. We have 4 ponds and plenty of beautiful pasture and mature oak forests to explore. Five acres are currently being developed into an organic vegetable farm and two acres into a permaculture-inspired tropical food forest. The apartment unit is on the first floor of the main house (handicap accessible); and has its own private entrance, kitchen, and full bathroom. Tenants have access to the pool and hot tub, as well as outdoor patio spaces. Ask about personal garden space access (with irrigation assistance, access to tools and guidance) if interested. This unit is not available until April 1 2021. Lease term is five months. Utilities are included in the rent. Shared laundry unit is in the main house and is available on Saturdays only. One (quiet and well behaved) pet is allowed. Pool and hot tub are accessible to tenants. Tenants may fish and canoe in the main pond, as well as enjoy bonfires or picnics on the covered patio and dock after 4pm only due to safety reasons (grazing animals). The unit is non-smoking.
