Peaceful retreat an hour and a half from Raleigh, on a private lake. Our lake cottage can comfortably sleep 6 people. There are 2 bedrooms, both with walk in closets, both with a king size bed. There is also a central room with 2 twin beds that can easily be put together to make a 3rd king size bed. There are 2 baths, a master bathroom with a jetted tub and large shower, and a hall bath with a large shower. The second bedroom and central room have direct access to the hall bath. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a family room with an electric fireplace, a sunroom with a large dining table and sectional to enjoy the fabulous view and occasional wildlife. Only the residents on the lake have access to the lake, and there are very few boats, unless it is a holiday. Kayaking on the lake is like having your own wild lake to paddle on. Lots of wildlife. Gorgeous views and surroundings. The property includes 2 docks, 1 boat ramp, and a kayak launch area. We also have a new patio for firepit gatherings, and a large deck.
