This is not an ordinary piece of land. The cabin is very nice, but the land is spectacular. The foresters in the area tell me that this property has some of the nicest White and Red Pine that are privately owned anywhere within three counties. They told me that these trees are between 110 and 130 years old. This grove of pines is so special that you can spot it from an airplane because it is so unique and different from all the surrounding forests. There are also many mature Oak and Maple trees. The Oaks provide acorns that the Deer, Bear, & Squirrels love. Many of the oldest Oak and Maple were harvested approx. 10 years ago. This was perfect because it gave the Pines more room to grow and it allowed a new generation of Oak and Maple to germinate. These smaller trees are much better habitat for every specie of animal. There lots of hiking trails. It a very interesting place to hike, because the topography is so varied. The elevation increases by approx. 250 feet higher as you go from the south end to the north end. In between there are maybe 30 or more small hills and ravines to explore - definitely not your typical flat wooded area. Although it's at the absolute end of the road, it is only: - approx. 7 minutes from a fabulous beach on Lake Superior - approx. 15 minutes from Cornucopia and the famous Sea Caves. If you haven' seen them, you must. Thousands of people come from hundreds of miles for this rare treat. - approx. 35 minutes from Bayfield Your only near neighbors are the Deer, Bear, Turkeys, Grouse, Coyotes, Fisher (have you ever seen a Fisher?), Red Squirrels, Gray Squirrels, and Flying Squirrels. If you have a light at night and put out some food, you can sit on the porch and watch the Flying Squirrels do their air acrobatics. There are probably even Pine Marten - although I haven't seen them there, I have seen one nearby. There are even a few Moose in Bayfield County. I've never seen one, but I did see Moose tracks once and followed them quite a way - those guys have long legs and travel miles. Sale includes a 12' x 20' cabin that has a 6' x 12' porch. Cabin sleeps 4. Two in queen bed and two more in the loft. All beds and bedding are brand new and slept in only once. I had a home just 15 minutes away so I only went there to enjoy the trees The cabin is only 5 years old. Also, included is tractor with brush mower and grader blade. This is used for keeping the hiking trails open. I don't allow ATV's. Whether your interests are hiking, hunting, or just getting away to where there is no noise or light pollution, this may be your nirvana. It was mine. I had planned to keep it until I died. The only reason I'm selling is because I am planning to leave the U.S. and would no longer be able to enjoy what I have called "my garden". Pictures don't do it justice - you have to see it. For more info, please call or text: 218- three one zero - two two zero zero I do welcome all scammers, because you would make an excellent meal for my bears.
