The exterior walls are 6" studs with blown in insulation. Upstairs game room is 20x25 with easy access to large attic space on either side. Master bedroom is large and spacious with large master bath and walk in closet, and MBR is privately situated away from other bedrooms. Family room is large and open with 25' vaulted ceiling, with custom made beams. There is a 22x64 wood shop, large front and back yards, numerous pine and oak trees, private water well, all on 5 secluded acres. County maintained black top road. Neighborhood Description Big Point is a very nice, quiet community. There is a volunteer fire department, numerous churches, and one convenience store. About 3 1/2 miles from home is a very large park, with several baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, and Whispering Pines Golf Course. The schools located in Hurley, MS, are 7 miles away with various other stores and banks. Pascagoula, MS, which is the county seat (Jackson), is only 21 miles away, the MS Gulf Coast, with casinos and beaches are 45 miles away. Mobile (AL) Regional Airport is 19 miles, downtown Mobile, 25 miles. So as you can see, even though Big Point is a rural area, we are still very convenient to cities and businesses. Big Point is a very nice place to live and I would recommend it to anyone wishing to raise a family or wanting peace and quiet.
