We often hear their cries and see them soaring along the bluffs, even though we can't see the nest. The Aerie is situated midway between Sequim and Port Angeles on the coast, it affords residents convenient access to amenities in both Port Angeles and Sequim, while offering a secluded, forested setting for the home. This is 3000+ sq.ft. three-level home, on high-bluff acreage along the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Although there are excellent water views from the property, there is no beach access from the home. The home is sited about 100 feet back from the bluff edge; there is a narrow pathway to minimal seating for viewing at the bluff edge. The acreage includes open grassy areas safe for children to play, but parents of small children must impose their own safeguards to protect children from venturing close to the bluff top. The Master Suite on the top floor includes a large bedroom with covered deck outside, a walk-in closet, bath with separate toilet closet, double sinks, separate shower and soaking tub. The middle floor comprises the Great Room, Kitchen, open Dining Area, a nook, two bedrooms (or use one as an office) and a full bath. Sliding doors off the dining area open onto to a deck. Streaming TV is available through the internet, but cable-TV is not available and satellite-TV reception is difficult because of surrounding trees.
