Thought you might like to know about the neighbors. My neighbors behind and Jim and Gilda Newton, the original developers of this neighborhood. Jim tells me he planted all the pine trees surrounding the property. You will see he and Gilda out working in the yard, as they are elderly, retired, yet active. On the other side is Don and Sandy Long. Sandy teaches at the high school and Don mows my lawn!!! I’m sure he is otherwise gainfully employed because he certainly cannot survive on the $30 I pay him to mow. On the west (?) side are 2 very quiet professional people. He’s an attorney and she’s also employed, so they’re not home during the day. They like to sit out on their patio and listen when I play my fiddle on the deck. The Misner’s across the street keep to themselves, but their dog, Juno comes to visit. She is quite friendly. Helen Porter, a couple of doors down, helped me get my car out during one of the ice storms. So, it’s a quiet neighborhood with GREAT neighbors…well, unless the dogs start barking at night, but the windows are tight here and you barely hear them. Oh, the previous owner left all the installation manuals for the major appliances, doors, light fixtures, etc. I will leave that here. There’s even a copy of the original floor plans for the house.
