Built in 1855, it is one of the few homes in the county to survive Order No. 11 during the Civil War. A three year restoration was completed in 2022 which included updating the kitchen, three bathrooms and moving the laundry area to the second floor. Restoration of the 2 story front porch and rebuilding the long missing rear balcony, a new brick pathway, pool, and fence were some of the exterior work done.
