The bathroom was recently renovated with wall to ceiling ceramic tiling. Water is from a nearby well and has sterilization. House has been recently painted inside. High speed internet available through Comcast/Xfinity or Consolidated Communications! 25 min to Jay Peak, 10 min to Sutton, Quebec, 20 min to Enosburg. The location is remote, and extremely safe, being right next to a border crossing with border patrol a quick phone call away. And if you would like to enjoy nature right in the backyard, the neighbors next door are happy to share the 58 acres following the brook for walking, swimming, camping, skiing, snowshoeing, fishing and hunting. The rental is managed by a small local management company, so any problems that arise can be addressed quickly. The house has a garage for covered parking and storage. The back of the garage has been fenced off for chickens and you are welcome to continue the tradition. For more ambitious farmers, there is room in the barn next door and there are a few acres of fenced pasture ready for sheep, cows, etc. Additional monthly rent and insurance would need to be discussed, but we are happy to work together.
