Very peaceful and safe community. I have lived here 21 years and don't have a desire to move but my job is in Charlotte. Alexander County has best school systems and people. Easy access to Lake Hickory and best dinner. Also Hickory is 15 minutes. Out in the country were you can here the birds chirping and beautiful landscaping and big trees and private with no neighbors on either side of my road.
