This mobile home was made in 1960 with 1 1/2" marine grade plywood for its subflooring. We gutted and rebuilt all North walls with full size 2"x 4" wall studs. All the original windows were replaced to upgrade the "mobile home" look with the look of a nice home. This house is comprised of 12' X 45' Mobile home and 12' X 45' Concrete Block addition. These two structures were married together and wrapped in steel mesh and stuccoed as one unit. The wall separating the two units was removed opening up the living room to enjoy the whole 24' width of the house. The house has a 12' X 30' covered carport and concrete driveway. Both the house and Carport have one metal roof, custom made to cover it as one unit. For added insulation and waterproofing, all the metal roof seams were sealed with a rubberized paint that was designed containing the same glass bead materials used to protect NASA's space shuttle's tiles on reentry through Earth's atmosphere. We designed and built a six thousand gallon in ground concrete swimming pool with Jacuzzi jets and a very large rock waterfall, whose legal description is a cement pond. It can be used as a swimming pool or a pond (we raised Japanese Show Koi for ten years). There is additional air-conditioned storage and laundry room next to the pool. This house is safely nestled between four three story structures which have always protected us from any strong winds. We have planted many Barbados cherry bushes, Christmas tree palms and delicious coconut trees, so we always have a fresh supply of coconut milk and fruit to eat. Neighborhood Description As a member of Sexton Cove you are allowed to use the park and boat ramp for a small yearly fee other than that, there are no HOA fees. We live on a very quiet neighbor where everyone feels safe to walk along our streets at night.
