This beautiful antebellum style home sits under mature oaks on approximately 2 acres in the heart of Carlyss. There is 2815 sq ft living but over 3000 sq ft under the roof. A classic southern foyer gives way to the formal living room, dining room, kitchen and den. The home has original hardwood floors and an original working intercom system with a radio and record player. The L-shaped staircase leads you to a library, the 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The beautiful porches overlook both the front and back of the property. Oaks, fruit trees, flowering shrubs, a chicken coop and a greenhouse would welcome a gardener into the gracious yard. There is plenty of space in the two-car garage for vehicles and storage. Restore this beauty to her original glory or update her into a modern dream. All measurements more or less.
