Lovely, sunny location in the redwoods, in Monte Rio California, the Russian River. This lovely studio cottage is available either furnished or unfurnished. There are four cottages located on a 1/2 acre fenced, private compound. The Hummingbird, our smallest cottage is only 260sq ft, is surrounded by a HUGE redwood deck, enclosed in a private redwood fenced yard. Even though Hummingbird Cottage is small, it is very comfortable, and even spacious with the large deck. It is as if the outside is part of the interior. There is a built in refrigerator, air/convection oven, gas cooktop, electric fireplace, and a small bath. One of the bonuses of choosing Monte Rio as your home is the "banana belt effect" and the coolness in the summer months, when the rest of the world is sweltering. Monte Rio is a small hamlet, centrally located to many towns and cities, with all the necessities....transportation, a well stocked market, really nice neighbors, great restaurants, public tennis/pickle ball courts, public golf course, hiking trails, swimming, kayaking/caneoing, and so, so much more. We require a yearly lease, and a lease renewal each year on June 1st. The landlord pays for garbage, water, and sewage. Utilities (PG&E) is the tenants' responsibility. All pets are required to have up to date vaccines, and must either be contained in the yard or on a leash at all times. Pets must adhere to good behavior policy. We expect out tenants and the pets to be good neighbors.
