Four, 1,000 head hog finishing buildings built in 1998 located approximately 9 miles southeast of Remsen, Iowa at 21135 Tamarack Ave All barns are 40’ x 200’ with an 8’ pit. The barns are wood-framed with poured concrete stem and fully insulated walls. The site was built in 1998 and remodeled in 2015. All buildings have the SKOV thermostatically controlled, ceiling mounted 36” and 24” exhaust chimney fans with actuated ceiling mounted air inlets. There are two, 12-ton feed bins per building. PVC flex auger delivers feed to double sided, SDI stainless steel, wet/dry feeders. There are nipple waterers in the feeders. A well is shared with an adjacent home with rural water as the backup.
