The area is great for Tubing, trout fishing, biking & white water rafting activities or, you can stay, relax & enjoy the peaceful setting by listening to the creek by your back window. This 1 bedroom 1 bath home is a wonderful retreat. Located minutes from Sassafras Mountain and Jumping off Rock trails. You will enjoy just staying home, grilling and sitting by the fire-pit. The sound of the creek running in your back yard provides such a peaceful setting you will forget about all the busy every day life. The cabin is approx. 750 sqft. Gas range/stove and refrigerator remain with sale. Home was completely renovated in 2019 (except for the bathroom). There is AC and heat (mini splits). There is also a gas fireplace in the home for those extremely cold days (propane). Wi-Fi is available. There is no washer or dryer areas. Keep in mind this is a very old home that has been updated. We tried to keep as much old as we could for character and charm so floors squeak and water pressure can be low at times as this is spring-fed water. We incorporated a few old items from the remodel. To us, this is part of the character of the home and experience. 208 Rocky Bottom - This home needs a full redo. It is not livable and needs a complete redo. Gas - stove, oven and fireplace operate on propane gas. This a small and quiet community. We always enjoy your stay!! This property has been used as a successful vacation rental since 2020.
