We have pot luck campfire dinners most weekends with good weather for any that might like to attend. Need help with a fence line, tractor flat tire, animal sick...just let a neighbor know and they will be here with offers to help. Everyone looks after each other. The way it is supposed to be. They taught me to plant a garden, can, make a cobbler from scratch, replant trees, maintain a tractor, all within the first few months I was here. These are real people with great big hearts not found on many subdivision culdisacs. Our lane is tree lined and in summer the trees grow over the road making a picture postcard. In fall the colors are spectacular. Not much snow in winter. Our ponds seldom even freeze. In summer we often have barbeques pondside so everyone can swim and splash. Bigger than a built in pool and NO MAINTAINANCE! Lots of frogs, turtles, fish.
