All doors leading to the outside (including the front entryway storm door and screen doors for the sliding doors) have been upgraded with "green" glass and sealing in the summer of 2010. Windows and doors are white-painted on the inside and dark brown-trimmed on the outside (cluster rules). This is the standard outside trim color for the neighborhood. In addition to all updated appliances listed, an over-the-range exhaust fan has been updated. A water line for an ice-maker in the refrigerator was added as well. Lockable shed on back of building has a usable amount of space. Quaint flower gardens in front and back of house. Dwarf Magnolia is the standard tree in the front lawn. The cluster maintains a small park with a short field, a paved pad for a basketball court, kids swings and a jungle gym set-up. There is also a small nature preserve with a stream running thru it on cluster property. Cluster parking is via parking tags (two per house) and reserved spots (one per house). Reserved space is located in front of townhouse. Towing is enforced by cluster board members and contracted towing service. Townhouse in the Reston Association purview which has a yearly fee (currently $700) due March 1. Association fees cover maintenance of common areas, numerous paved walking/biking trails, at least ten community pools with most having community tennis courts located nearby and the maintenance of association covenant rules. Also, townhouse is located in the Sawyers Cluster which has quarterly fees (currently $225) which covers maintenance of cluster common areas, parking lots, sidewalks, trash and leaf pickup and snow plowing. Cluster board is made up of owners of townhouses in cluster. Neighborhood Description: Nice neighborhood... Area is secure enough to walk around the block any time of the day. Recent alleged postal mail crime resulted in the cluster purchase of locked mailboxes, raising the low quarterly cluster fee (still one of the lowest cluster fees in Reston). Upgraded mailboxes were installed in Nov 2013. Parking area, sidewalks and curbs in this portion of the neighborhood/cluster were fully updated in spring/summer 2014.
