Our non-smoking mountain home is one hour from Denver and 10 minutes, 4.2 miles, from Black Hawk and Central City and is situated streamside to a year round stream. The creek runs by one side of the home, allowing the occupants of one bedroom to enjoy the sound of the babbling creek, just offside a private deck. Our home, built in 1979, was designed with all the comforts and conveniences of a home, in a pristine mountain setting. The house is backed up to Arapahoe National Forest. This home is secluded enough where you can't see neighbors. The main floor has a full bath, laundry, kitchen and great room with a wood burning fireplace and a great deck to enjoy the creek with a bar-b-que. The upper floor has two bedrooms with two skylight windows. One of the bedrooms has a private deck overlooking the stream. Enjoy watching the birds and listening to the stream on our secluded back deck. The kitcen has brand new appliances and beautiful granite countertops. Off the deck there is a six person hot tub. This is truly a mountain paradise. The extra guest room is perfect for family and friends to enjoy your mountain paradise but in their own private space. There are many areas and activities available near by. That include fishing at a private reservoir 1.7 miles, Gambling and restaurants in Central City 3.4 miles, Gambling and restaurants in Black Hawk 4.0 miles, Gilpin County $4.8 million recreation center, for swimming, working out, and more 7.5 miles, Golden Gate Canyon State Park, for hiking and fishing 12.1 miles, White Ranch Open Space, for hiking, 21.5 miles, and Denver is only 60 minutes away. The famous Central City Opera House is open during the summer months. Four wheeling is 4 miles up the road, as well as all around us. Plenty of hiking and fishing abound, with brook trout swimming in the stream off of the deck. In winter, snow skiing at Eldora is only 30 minutes away or slightly further to Loveland, Breckenridge, Winter Park or Vail ski areas. Must be screened through our property manager. Friendly pets are welcome. Owner has discretion on pet. There is a $250 non-refundable pet deposit for each pet.
