Starting December 1st, we have an apartment for rent in Barton, Vermont, along Lake Street at 23A Duck Pond Road. It is a two story, half of a Duplex building, apartment. It consists of two large bedrooms and one full bathroom upstairs. The downstairs consists of a living room, dining room, and kitchen, all in an open plan layout. Plus, there is another full bathroom downstairs with a shower stall arrangement. There is a full slider in the dining room that leads to a large, attached deck. Sorry, the master bedroom picture is missing but is similar to the other bedroom, only larger and with a full length closet. There is also a full basement for storage, etc. with a cement floor. It has forced air oil heat. There is a front covered porch with a view of Crystal Lake. There is another covered porch and entry on the back of the building, adjacent to the parking area. There is suitable parking for 2 plus cars. There are hook ups for a washer and dryer on the first level. The kitchen includes a stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher, microwave, and garbage disposal. The rent rate is $1,200 for two occupants with domestic water and sewer bills covered for a max of 3,000 gallons per month. Additional water and sewage usage will billed at cost. We may consider an additional 1 or 2 occupants max., but at an increase in monthly rent of $75 per occupant. We prefer no pets. A security deposit equivalent to two months rent is required. And a background check will need to be performed for all occupants at a cost of $40 each. There is no smoking of any kind indoors. Trash pick up, electricity, heating oil, and cable/internet service is not included in the rent and is the responsibility of the renter. This apartment includes a large lawn for your outdoor enjoyment. Currently, lawncare and snow plowing is covered by the other duplex tenant, but that can end at any time.
