The main level of the house has an open floor plan (kitchen, dining and living room) with vaulted ceilings and large windows affording beautiful lake views. There are also two bedrooms on the main level. The first has a queen-sized bed and looks out over the lake. The second bedroom has a full-sized bed as well as a chaise lounge. (Note: the second bedroom is currently used for a toddler so the mattress is on the floor; however, we do have a bed frame and box spring for the bed.) Between the two bedrooms is a full bath. The main level walks out onto a large deck overlooking the lake. The basement is unfinished but features a laundry area with new Whirlpool high efficiency washer and dryer. There is also an office area with a desk and credenza. An additional large, open room can serve as a second family area and/or bedroom. There is also a bathroom with a shower (though the bathroom walls are not finished). A sliding glass door opens to a screened-in patio, and a second door walks out directly to the lake. The house has an attached single-car garage with lots of additional parking in the driveway and front of the house available. The lakeshore was just landscaped this year with native plants and a sandy beach. A canoe and paddleboat are available for use.Cedar Lake is a 780-acre lake located about seven miles north of New Prague, MN, and 36 miles to downtown Minneapolis.Owner pays for water, sewer and trash. Tenant pays for gas and electric, as well as any additional desired utilities (cable, Internet, etc). Pets will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The house is currently available for rent from August 26, 2014 through May 31, 2015, with the possibility for a longer term depending on our circumstances.
