Beautiful, spotlessly-cleaned monthly rental that is pet friendly, including large dogs and cats AND fully furnished. The home is spotlessly cleaned by myself. It is a house that welcomes pets, but you can't tell because I clean and maintain absolutely everything.

*Special note: I always have renters, so I am sorry to say I cannot offer tours. I've rented out this house sight-unseen for 4 years now, since most folks don't live in the area anyway. It is just as nice as the photos and cared for by myself, the owner, and I am extremely responsive to any issues because I love the house and I live in it part of the year. Parking is off street right next to the house - max of three SUV/sedan cars will fit on the gravel parking on side of house or 2 trucks. Have had guests with F-150 with truck camper fit with no issues and have multiple guests bring teardrop campers. House does not have a traditional private driveway - sorry! - but your cars will be safe and parked right next to the house.
Home is directly in the heart of West Asheville, literally 1 minute from Haywood St. and all of the fun bars and restaurants. This is fantastic if you want to live downtown and walk to the grocery store, library, bars, restaurants, and parks. Great area for walking dogs - West AVL park is minutes away and our area is has sidewalks everywhere. This area is wonderful if you want to feel like you live in the heart of Asheville.
Important note for pets: No approval needed for pets or extra pet fees - I do not need to interview your pets. You are simply agreeing to absolutely no pet damage - no scratching of furniture, walls, or doors, chewing of rugs, pillows, destruction of the yard/grass, etc. and paying a security deposit that is 100% refunded upon the house being left in great shape. A pet scratching up the arm of a chair, chewing up multiple pillows, or chewing up a rug is pet damage. If your pets scratch up doors and windows, sorry, but this isn't the house for you. Replacing those things is extremely expensive. Nearly all guests with 2 pets have no issues and I'm happily able to issue a full security deposit refund, but guests with 3-4 pets, the average damage owed is about $400 because a lot gets chewed up. Pet limit is 4 pets.
I strongly recommend messaging me with any questions you have before submitting an application, unless you are applying to other homes. There's a 670 minimum credit score. Also, to repeat, I cannot give tours because the home is always occupied by renters and I want to respect their privacy. Good news is you will have that same privacy. I have a virtual tour online.
No extra pet fees and no cleaning fees, but as part of checking out at the end of the lease, I ask renters to do a light cleaning of the home, clean up any pet poop in the yard, and run dishes through dishwasher and put them all away.
For those moving to the area or looking for a temporary home while your home is repaired and not sure of lease dates: I am happy to do a month-to-month lease, but I need 45 days notice for terminating the lease, so that I have time to find a new renters.

Landlord (me) pays all utilities, including high speed internet with download speeds over 300 mbps. Roku TV in living room only (not TVs in bedrooms, sorry, but you're welcome to bring them), no cable.
I provide a really nice and new battery operated lawn mower and edge trimmer with 2 batteries - renters responsible for using those to mow the lawn. From April - Early November - lawn needs mowed twice per month. Late November - March, lawn doesn't need mowed, as that's winter for us. Grass will be mowed just before your move in.
Monthly rent - $3000- no extra fees. This is the rate for February and March only, April 1st, monthly rent is $3,250. Rent increases to $3,300 June 1st.
Security deposit due at signing equal to first month's rent. First month's rent due at move in - because I'm not able to give tours, I don't require the first month's rent until move in.
$175 monthly electricity cap - tenant pays amount over this.
$100 monthly water/trash/sewer cap - tenant pays amount over this.
Going over either of these amounts would be extremely high for the house - happy to provide records showing this - this is not to make money off of you, just to protect myself from an extremely high electric/water bill. Only 1 guest in 4 years has needed to pay for a water bill that went over the cap.
Security Deposit - Equal to monthly rent (will be completely refunded within 5 days after lease ending to renter as long as house has no damage). Any damage would be photographed and discussed with renter.
No approval of pets needed or extra fees. Renter agrees to no pet damage by putting down the security deposit. My guests with 1-2 pets have gotten their full deposit back. Guests with 3-4 pets have had to pay an average of $400 for chewing up many items. If your pets scratch up windows and doors, this would not be the house for you. Replacing doors and windows is so expensive these days, I don't want to charge people for that.
No smoking of any kind inside - no problem if you want to smoke outside and dispose of waste in the trash
No parties - regular families live next door
