The bottom floor apartment is located on a large wooded property in a quiet rural setting. It is a separate living space with its own kitchen, bathroom, living area, and two bedrooms. The property is approximately 25 30 minutes from downtown Eugene, 15 minutes from West Eugene, and 10 minutes from Veneta. There are also numerous wineries in the surrounding area. When something comes up, a tenant who is interested may have the option, by mutual agreement, to trade some work toward a portion of rent. There may also be occasional paid childcare or babysitting opportunities. These opportunities are infrequent, completely optional, and separate from the rental agreement. We live on the property with our 4 yo daughter, and there are also other children on the property, currently ranging in age from about 4 7. Everyone has their own private living space and independence, but we enjoy having a friendly, community-oriented atmosphere rather than simply living as strangers on the same property. We'd especially welcome someone who likes the idea of knowing their neighbors and being part of a place where people naturally help one another out, spend time outdoors, and occasionally share meals or hang out together. There's no expectation to participate in everything it's simply an opportunity for connection and community for those who enjoy it. There may also occasionally be optional work-trade opportunities, such as landscaping, maintenance, projects around the property, or occasional childcare/babysitting. Any such arrangement would be discussed and agreed upon separately and could potentially include compensation applied toward a portion of rent.
