I'm re renting one bedroom in a beautiful ranch style home. Our house is situated in a nice, clean and quiet court, right across from Eden hospital in Castro Valley. We're half mile away from Lake Chabott, and just a few minutes from the beautiful shopping area in Castro Valley. We're also close to Cal State in Hayward, and freeway entrance. Public transportation is just around the corner too. Bathroom will be shared. The rent includes the use of washer and dryer and kitchen privileges as well. For your convenience, we also provide a small island/table with a microwave and a small refrigerator in the garage. There's plenty of parking space off the street. We're looking for a single tenant, ideally, a full-time student or someone that works full time. Someone with good habits and healthy hobbies. If you like to be home watching a lot of TV, we're not compatible. Must be responsible, have a decent credit history, (We will run credit and criminal background) Must be kind and respectful to others around. Must like children and dogs. NO drug users or heavy drinkers, No drama, or crazy partying. No pets, and no overnight guests, except for parents visiting out of town. (occasionally) Ideally with a similar work schedule than ours, 7 am -6 pm. (if you work night shift and need to sleep during the day, that won't for us. Rent is $1000 plus a deposit of $1000. Utility bills to be paid separately. Deposit is refundable, if the rooms are clean and there's no damage to the property when vacated. We'll be checking credit, and criminal record. A little bit about us, I'm a retired lady, with a young spirit. I'm christian but do not mind sharing my space with people of all faiths; as long as you're a kind, responsible and honest person. I love cooking, gardening, and spending time with my family. My daughter has a 3 years old boy, they visit at least once per week, so its important that you're ok with children around. My 54 years old son lives with me. He has learning disability. He's a peaceful guy, and happy person, keeps to himself. Very important, we like keeping kitchen and other common areas clean, we're looking for a tenant with compatible cleaning habits; someone who doesn't mind cleaning, doing dishes and wiping the kitchen counters each time you cook. We value our privacy and will respect and value yours as well. If we ever need to go inside your room/private space, we will notify you in advance. We expect the same from you.
