Original description when I purchased the home: Open floor plan with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bath. Large office with plenty of storage. Updated kitchen with granite and stainless steel. Close to the city, great commute. Lots of privacy. Great for entertaining. Square footage includes lower level playroom. Since purchasing our home, we have made over $75,000 in improvements: - stripped and replaced every shingle on the house and pool house with new cedar shingles, manually stained on both sides - replaced every window in the house except the 5 large windows in the sunroom/solarium - rebuilt the sunroom/solarium, both the interior and exterior - dug 4' down around the entire house and waterproofed and insulated the foundation - ripped out the old deck and built a huge, beautiful, 22' x 22' AZEK deck - removed the old insulation and reinsulated the attic and crawlspace - built a functional attic with lots of storage and polyurethaned floors - completely replaced the electrical coming into the house and upgraded the fuse box - added exhausts to the 2 upstairs bathrooms - added a kitchen stove hood and exhaust - cleared and excavated some of the woods behind the house and planted grass, adding 10,000 sqft to the back lawn The original description also neglects to mention that there is a 16' x 32' in-ground pool and a shingled pool shed, now rebuilt, attached to the garage. Finally, I should mention that we are not anxious to move AT ALL. But if someone is willing to pay -- then we will consider. Hence this posting to "Make Me Move".
