I recently remodeled my 2nd floor and am looking to open up my home to shared living among roommates. It's a large (2,300 sqft) three-story home with 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and plenty of room for storage. The house has a very modern feel with a long open floor plan on the 1st floor. I'm open to both male and female roommates, but please no couples moving in together. If you're down-to-earth and consider yourself a good person, then you're just what I'm looking for. I've put a lot of work into my home and have furnished the main living areas to make a comfortable and updated living space. I would hope that you will take care of my home just as if it were your own if you move in. The house is in Wissahickon, which is right before Manayunk (maybe 6-7 blocks to Main Street) and a short drive to Philly. My neighborhood is on the quiet side of town, which means nicer homes and closer to nature. Wissahickon Park is just across the street, and Kelly Drive is about a 5 minute walk when you cut through Forbidden Drive. The house is very comfortable and conveniently located 2 blocks from Septa Train Station and a 2 minute drive from I-676. There is currently a roommate that is occupying a bedroom on the 3rd floor. There is also a furnished guest room on the 3rd floor that is for all the roommate to use for invited guests (family/friends). The rooms I'm renting out are on the 2nd floor (SEE PICS OF HOUSE). I'm looking to rent a master bedroom and a bedroom/office combo, each with a 1-year-lease. I'm requesting the first month rent upfront, as well as a deposit equal to a month's rent. Front Bedroom (roughly 15ft x 14ft) = $800/month + utilities Rear Bedroom (rougly 12ft x 16ft) with attached office (roughly 12ft x 12ft) = $950/month + utilities * Monthly rent includes cable/wifi and water bills. Roommates will be responsible for splitting electric and gas utilities each month. Other Features with the House: - Central Air - Radiator Heating (Very Warm in the Winter) - Private parking in rear of house (2 off-street parking spots) - Outdoor Patio area - Huge Basement for Storage - Furnished Guest Bedroom - Washer and Dryer - Extra refrigerator I'm only looking for working professionals... so that means you should have a steady job or income.
