    What's special

Once in a lifetime opportunity to pick up this unique property in a million-dollar location once owned by renowned artist/sculptor Dale Gillespie his unique style and artistry can be found in almost every corner of the property. This property hosts 2 short-term rental units grossing between 7k - 10k per month and it’s not even began to see its full potential yet. Both units, one the original art studio of Dale named the "Art Loft" and the main house named the “Carver’s House”, have both been completely renovated. No detail has been overlooked and everything has been upgraded. We have completely replaced all electric and plumbing. The hot water heater is new and has an inline hot water heater to supplement when needed. The well pump has been replaced from a half-horse to a 1 1/2 horse pump with all pipe fittings being replaced and the well treated. In the main house we have replaced floors and floor joists and put down a vapor barrier and added a dehumidifier as well as insulation under the house. We added new insulation throughout and 10” spray foam insulation in the ceiling. The central air and heat unit was added and is brand new. All of the light fixtures and ceiling fans are new and we have added led lighting throughout. My favorite part of the whole property is the custom cabinets and unique concrete countertops. The Art Loft was taken completely to the studs and everything in it is less than 3 years old. All the light fixtures are also new. We put on a 16k brand new copper (metal) roof. And added the hot tub pad for our Art Loft guests. There is tons of room for expanding this property and we have plans to do a lot of them. However, we are looking into another opportunity to expand so we are willing to let this go. In total, I spent 3 years renovating this property and there is not one piece of wood or crevice I have not put my eyes on and have ensured this property is solid and sitting on a great foundation to be a little piece of paradise in the mountains for years to come. My hope is that whoever get this property will cherish it like I have and continue add to it and expand it. Both units have dish-provided cable and internet services. The sewer is septic, the water is from a well. This provides about a $150 - $200 savings per month.

This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
