Despite all of the great things to do and eat nearby, it is a very quiet street, and inside the unit it is quiet and relaxing. The metro is a block away (red line) and it is easy to walk to the National Zoo and the Mervin Hazen Park hiking trail which merges with Rock Creek Park for hiking and bicycle trails. It takes about a half hour to bike to the Mall and downtown and 20 minutes to walk to the National Cathedral.
