It is however, on a beautiful lot with 150 feet of waterfront property. The house has 3 bedrooms with the master having its own private bath w/shower. The main bath has ample space with a full size tub and double sinks. There is a formal living area that opens to the dining room. There is also a family room that flows into the kitchen giving the desired open floor plan. The laundry room is just off the kitchen and comes with a washer and dryer. The attached garage easily accommodates two vehicles and has a new door opener. The home is heated and cooled by a new heat pump system installed this past August. It also has base board heat that can be used as a backup if needed but since it is fueled using oil, is expensive to operate. The stove is electric (smooth top). Dishwasher and refrigerator work flawlessly and are newer models. There is no microwave. The home has a double fireplace (i.e. it is open to both the family room and formal living room). It is equipped with gas logs (uses propane) but the new tenant would be responsible for setting up an account with a local propane company and getting a tank installed. Energy efficient double pane windows were installed in 2012. Remember, this house is not updated. It is however very sound and quaint in its own way. The school district includes John B Dey elementary, Great Neck Middle, and Frank W. Cox High. Tenant must pay for all utilities such as water, electric, HRSD. This has always been and will always be a NON SMOKING home. We are willing to accept one or two small dogs. Any dog considered an aggressive breed will be denied. Subletting the home or its boat slips will not be allowed.
