Half way between Lyme and Hanover. Best views of the Connecticut River in Hanover. Peaceful location with trails and big yard. There's room in the barn for bikes and storage. The property is comprised of the main house, a Barn apartment and Annex apartment (this listing). While not a requirement, the hope and intention is to create a cooperative property with the potential for shared vegetable garden, shared chickens, etc. -- that's all optional of course. There is garage parking for 1 car and outdoor parking for additional cars. It's a very cute apartment and awesome location. Lease terms - Sept 1, 2025 to June 2025 (end of Dartmouth calendar year). Owner pays for water, trash* and recycling. Tenant pays heating fuel, electricity, internet. Snow plowing is divided by number of cars and shared. Trash includes about 2 bags/week- more than that may be charged back. We have a strong commitment to climate change reductions, and sustainability in general. If energy, water, resource conservation, recycling and composting aren't your thing, this might not be a good fit. Parts of the property layout are wonky there are some shared spaces (e.g., garage, utility room, bike and ski storage, mudroom, etc). All of which are doable for sure but solid communication skills will go a long way.
