The location has access to many horse trails with an entrance near JPL to Millard Canyon and trails across the Angeles National Forest. The site also provides access down the Arroyo Seco, past the iconic Rose Bowl stadium, and continues to South Pasadena and beyond. The property involves two parcels totaling around 74,000 sq. ft. (approx. 1.2 acre lot and 22,000 sq. ft. lot) and has in place a 2007 non-conforming use review permit that runs with the land. The stables are approved as a horse and equestrian school with an emphasis on providing children, including children with disabilities, the experience of riding and caring for a horse. At one time, Dannys farm, a place for autistic children to interact with the animals, was located here.The two parcels of land are to be sold as one sale transaction, and will include at no additional cost specified horses, fixtures, equipment, and personal property associated with the two parcels. It is hoped that the buyer will use the property as a horse stables and equestrian school.
