Pumping out of a stocked pond of approximately 6 acre-feet is used to provide organic matter to the vines on watering days. The vineyard is home to a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath 2,900 sq.ft. main home built in 2004, and an older 2bedroom, 1 bath foreman's/caretaker's house. Additionally, the property features a 1,014 sq.ft. second-floor wine tasting room with panoramic views over the vineyard, above a climate-controlled wine storage space. The vineyard is approved for a winery of up to 25,000 cases of wine per year, and zoning allows for various agritourism options, food services, weddings, special events, and farm labor housing, among other potential uses. Manton is a small town of approximately 350 population, sitting at 2,000 ft elevation, not far from Lassen Volcanic National Park with its 500,000 visitors a year, mostly in summer months.
