This guesthouse is on the ground level of our family's home so there is a potential for noise as one wall of the guesthouse is shared with one wall in one room of the main house and noise outside also tends to carry (animals on the farm down the road, etc.). Sometimes our family is there (we're very quiet), sometimes the main home is rented out and sometimes there is no one in the main home. The guesthouse is completely private with it's own entrance, it's own outdoor sitting area and grill, it's own garage and no shared spaces.
