In the wintertime, a significant amount of people visit the area for snowmobiling and winter recreation, while the summertime brings campers, hikers and more to the area for its wide-open spaces, and the beauty of the Wind River mountains! HistoryThe area is also known for its past when logging operations were present, and much of the timber was floated out of the mountains on flumes. There are the remnants of the tiebacks and flumes still present in the area. Of other interest is the big game hunting in the area which includes Elk, Deer, Antelope and Moose. LocationThe property is about a fourteen mile drive out of Dubois, Wyoming, around 75 miles from Jackson Hole, and about 75 miles away from the Riverton, Wyoming. Either Jackson or Riverton offer daily air service out of their airports.
