Configured from our 3bedroom condo is a furnished 2 BR 2 BA condo, top corner unit in a 3 story building with great river and marsh views along with fantastic sunsets! Convenient to elevator or stairwell, this home is located right on the Darien waterfront. One queen bedroom suite with it's own bathroom with large walk-in tiled shower. It has a close and direct access to the screened balcony. The second bedroom is on the opposite side of the unit and it has a queen bed and a closet with a bathroom with tub just across the hall. The kitchen is lovely with stainless steel appliances and a glass top stove. It is open to the dining area and to the living room which has a sliding glass door to the screened balcony. The foyer contains a hall closet and across from the closet is the laundry room with washer and dryer. On nice days you can open the door to the screened balcony and access the screened part in the front storm door and enjoy a terrific cross breeze. Darien is truly a historic and scenic small city with a fun, friendly vibe. Many shops, restaurants, and a brewery are within 1 or 2 blocks of the condo. It's also very convenient to the Brunswick, GA airport and about an hour and a half from either Savannah or Jacksonville. St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island are each approximately a half hour away.
Our home is occupied by owners January through March at Settlers Bluff and we block off the primary 3rd bedroom when renting the unit as a 2 bedroom. Amenities include a swimming pool (seasonal), a dock for fishing, underground parking (first come first served) and access to our small storage unit. Water, sewer, wifi access is provided and we have a large smart TCL TV in the living room but you need to sign into your own streaming device. It's an all electric unit with a Google Nest thermostat. In addition to base rent amount, tenant is responsible for 2/3 of the electric bill (this has been averaging about $125-$150/month for our tenants. You pay owner directly after receiving a copy of the bill via email. Smoking is not permitted inside the condo, and (sorry) our condo rules do not permit tenants to have pets.
Base rent is $1700/mo for a minimum of 3 months. Tenant pays 2/3 of the electric bill as an additional suite is owners' locked space while condo is rented. First month's rent plus a security deposit of $1000.00 are due at time of lease agreement. Renter's Insurance is preferred but not required. Owner is flexible on start date. This condo is a top floor corner unit (3rd level with easy access to elevator or stairwells) and consists of 1 compl ete queen bedroom suite with beautiful view and screened balcony access. The sunset views are sensational over the river and marsh. This is right at the waterfront in downtown Darien, adjacent to Skipper's Fish Camp restaurant.
