Beautiful, spacious, lived in 4/2 fixer upper with opportunity to add a second story or build out huge attic space. The former was our intention, having raised 9+ boys in this home over 27 years.
Nine boys learning, living, playing and thriving in this home is exactly why it's a fixer upper. The covered back porch runs the length of the house with fans/lights and has been perfect for parents, grandparents and great- grandparents to sit in rocking chairs and watch babies play for almost three decades. Covered front porch is perfect for the porch swing and affords a beautiful view of the land surrounding the house.
Large 2+ acre yard with a pond that has been played in and fished from for years. Surrounded by agricultural land on all sides but one.
Not uncommon for deer, turkey, hogs, rabbits and eagles to come up from the back property.
Sweetest neighbors- literally. Their daughter married our son :)
Situated towards the end of Lannie Road just across from the Lannie Road Park (no park equipment but huge softball field), Veterans Memorial Cemetery ( ~10k neighbors with no kids, dogs, loud cars or garbage cans- quietest, best neighbors you could ask for).
1/4 m from the newest Fire Station in town. 1/2 mile from Ethel Road Boat Ramp to Thomas Creek.
Less than 15 min from Callahan, River City Town Center, New VA Hospital, Jax Intl Airport & New UF hospital....
Less than 30 min to dang near anywhere in Jacksonville.
But still in the country.
Still quiet.
Lots of lightning bugs at dusk and the whippoorwill still sings all night every night. Front porch is the place to be to watch the lightning bugs dance in the field next door. Small open garage on premise, was always useful every spring for baby chicks and ducks. Plenty of concrete pads for RV parking.
Home is in need of a handy man and a new family to love it as much as we have. She's a handful but she's worth every penny. More. But, the boys have grown and moved on and I'm too damn old and tired to fix anything. The house is too much for me and the yard is much too big. It's time for me to move on and time for the house to raise another generation.

What the owner loves about this home
This home and the surrounding property raised 9 boys. Was at one time a full working farm, milk & meat cows and all. We are surrounded by 157 acres of undeveloped land and that property back up to another 500 acres of conservation land. Always thankful for the fresh water from the well when everyone else loses power during hurricane season.
