2nd Semester only. Totally restored bungalow 10 minutes from campus in a beautiful setting. Perfect for visiting professor or post-doc. Grand piano. Completely furnished. 2 baths with Toto bidet toilets and a whirlpool tub. Gas fireplace. All utilities included. Tenant must agree to not move anything in the house and agree to owner leaving all her belongings in place. Only suitable for someone who has minimal belongings. There is no tv or wifi but cellular service is excellent to run on blue-tooth. Very clean and comfortable. There is a room currently used as an office that has a door but has to go through the master BR to exit. It is fine to use as a nursery but I would not describe it as a true BR. The rooms are a LR, music room open to the LR, Kit, DR, bath on the first flr. BR with queen-sized bed, Bath, office on the second flr. There are hardwood floors, tile and marmoleum in the Kit and DR. Storage items have been removed from under the piano. House sits on 1.5 acres and is in the middle of Russell Rd. There is very little traffic and it is a very quiet location. No smoking or pets allowed. Lease cannot be extended past second semester. This is a non-student home which I will return to in May 2026. It is completely furnished, has a Mason & Hamlin Grand Piano, large whirlpool tub, 2 Toto Bidet Washlets and is very clean. No need for anything but a suitcase of clothes. Nothing is to be moved or changed around in the house. While small and only suitable for a single or couple it is on a beautiful 1.5 acre lot with wonderful neighbors. Extremely quiet with very little traffic. Russell Rd is a special location as it is rural but only 10 minutes to IU and 14 to downtown. Suitable for faculty, grad or post-doc students. If you are not in Bloomington the house can be viewed by an associate or friend. I do not have a television or internet but you are welcome to contract for your own service as long as there is no wiring done into the house. I use my phone and IPad Pro and it works great with no problems streaming movies etc. Other second semester residents have set up their own service easily.
