We like to call our farm, "Flip Flop Farm" because that's what we wear all summer even while handling the farm chores. The unit has a kitchenette and in unit laundry. Everything except a full size oven is provided. Unit is furnished. Two queen sized beds. Flip Flop Farm is ideal for those seeking a rare farm-setting stay, be it for a long weekend or a flexible lease. Owners are part-time on-site in separate unit. As such, the property is very well maintained. Outdoor lovers will enjoy the homes access to Lower Thomas Creek Trail, connecting to the Mount Rose Wilderness. Mt. Rose Ski Area, multi-use trails, Rancharrah, The Club at Arrowcreek, Wolfrun Golf Club, and community parks are just minutes away. The entire area has a breathtaking view through the picture windows. Out the front door is a cozy and private covered front patio with comfortable furniture, a bar height table, and more breathtaking views of the large pasture, our resident wild animals and downtown Reno. There are both livestock and pets on the property. Two sweet dogs, Dali and Snap, two cats, Aztec and Chief. Several chickens, yet to be named, also supply the eggs for our guests when available. Suffice to say, a farm stay may not be advised for those with allergies or aversions to animals in general. Almond and Oak wood is provided for the charming wood stove to use in conjunction with central air and heat.
