Pulling into the direct entry, you catch a glimpse of your westerly views over the Green Mountains of Vermont and the Connecticut River. Better hurry getting the groceries away so you can settle in with a glass of wine to witness yet another incredible sunset. You're grateful for one level living which simplifies everything, even putting groceries away and especially when you've gotten extra for the weekend's company. Leaving the bags on the counter, you breeze through the house flicking on lights as you go. Still, you can't help checking the sun's descent through the wall of glass that is the back of the house. The guest room on this level and two more in the partially finished basement don't need your attention just now. Blissfully, momentarily, you're alone. A quick glance in the crock pot and the aroma rising from it brings a satisfied smile to your face. Pouring your glass of wine, your only decision now is where to take in that sunset. Inside? Outside? Master bedroom deck? Dining/Living room deck? Stepping outside you melt into the Adirondack chair and start to relax then abruptly spring out of your chair. Dashing inside you grab your camera and just as quickly are outside again as you start to shoot. This is one ritual that you never tired of.
