When we moved to South Orange in 2000 we didn't know anyone in town, however we very quickly formed a great circle of friends with whom we will stay close for the rest of our lives. This is a warm, caring and diverse community with access to two (South Orange and Maplewood) of the best downtowns in New Jersey. It has a small-town feel in that you run into friends and familiar faces every time you walk around downtown, while being only 30 minutes from all the action of New York City. We certainly hope that whoever lives here after us gets as much pleasure from being here as we have, and we wish them all the best.
