SUGAR CAMP SCHOOL HM - You can still almost hear the kids in the halls. The original structure of the unique home was once the Sugar Camp Arbutus School House - now it's home to a loving family who have brought it back to life. With the original wood floors, & much of the trim, plus massive windows to the east, you'll feel like you've gone back in time. A welcoming great room greets you w/warm fire at the hearth. Beadboard wainscoting, an authentic wagon wheel chandelier, & barnboard trim echo the authenticity. Take a look at the handhewn doors & shutters, the shelf over the hearth & the shutters in the front bdrm & you'll realize that a true craftsman lives here. But all the modern conveniences are here as well including washer/dryer in a shelf-lined utility room, a natural gas furnace, water heater & freezer in the mudroom & many new windows & a lifetime septic. Look at the workshop & gardens just outside the back door & you'll understand what living "the country life" is all about.
