Peaceful property designed with safety, relaxation, and fun in mind. A private and cozy place to recharge. The 1978 Avion sits behind and to the right of our family home on a fully fenced 1/3-acre lot surrounded by old, beautiful trees and friendly, long-time neighbors who all look out for one another. The yard is well-lit with motion-sensor lighting, and security cameras are placed around the property for added peace of mind. We have kids, so this was always a must for us.
Inside, youll find about 220 sq. ft. of thoughtfully designed and preserved space with a relaxed 1970s boho vibe. The Avion, for this listing, is intended for one person but includes two twin beds with storage both overhead and underneath. If preferred, the beds can be converted into a queen before arrival (note: this setup requires climbing over the bed to reach the bathroom). The dining table folds down to create a lounge-style living area with two couches, perfect for reading, journaling, or streaming from your own device with fast WiFi. The kitchen & bathroom are fully stocked, and the bathroom offers a full shower with plenty of space and light.
Outside, you'll have our shared fenced-in backyard with multiple fire pits and seating areas, Adirondack chairs, and a raised treehouse-style deck for relaxing under string lights. It's stunning during the winter, everything covered in a light snow, with fire pits to warm you up while still being able to enjoy the cold. During summer months, you'll also have access to the pool, a favorite spot for quiet afternoons. The Avion features its own private driveway and side entrance, providing easy access and full privacy. During winter months, we are one of the first to be plowed, but on the occasion we aren't, we are 2 blocks off the main street through town that ALWAYS gets plowed first. So there isn't much worry about snow with our location. And because we are close to the city, we don't tend to be a location in the valley that gets much snow. Surrounding areas do, though.
Our family lives in the main house. I'm a stay-at-home mom who loves all things cozy and creative, married to a very handy husband, with two polite and responsible teen boys and three little dogs who adore everyone they meet. We respect your space completely, but are always nearby if you need anything.
As already mentioned, we are located in a quiet, safe suburb just a few miles from all major Reno hospitals, with restaurants, coffee shops, and a beautiful park nearby. It's a calm, welcoming space designed for comfort, security, and fun. A place where I hope you can truly feel at home between shifts.
