1820 farmhouse built by Ed Cotton, brother of US Senator Norris Cotton (whose house is across the street). The barn and dining room (room between the barn and main house) were built in 2008. There was an old barn and the original cape, which was torn down. In 2021 the entire upstairs interior was ripped down to the studs and rebuilt including new wooden ceilings and hardwood floors. A full bathroom was built upstairs replacing one of the bedrooms. The living room and mudroom were completely rebuilt in 2022. An entirely new heating system was put in in 2021 – a gas boiler with radiators upstairs and downstairs. All ductwork was removed. An entirely new septic system was put in around 2020. A new basement wall was poured under the kitchen and north wall of the old foundation.
