The unit itself is unique; open-space "loft" style with the upstairs open to the downstairs under a slanting roof that matches the design of the main residence on the property (where the landlord lives, some 80 feet away). The Bungalow comes furnished with most furniture, refrigerator, bed and dressers. It has a shower and toilet in the bathroom, and sink, counters and cabinets (but no stove; hot plate is ok). The sleeping area is upstairs, and comes with built-in storage units. There is some storage available as well inside the unit under the stairs. There is no laundry service on-site. The Bungalow is well-insulated so the wall-heater keeps it plenty warm in winter, and the evaporative cooler keeps it cool in summer. In addition to rent, the tenant will pay propane (appx $6 per month) and electricity ($40). The last tenant did not need/want internet, so currently there is no separate internet service, but we could arrange one. In addition to the unit, you'll have access to the 10 acres for roaming, day-dreaming, nature walks, sunsets, bird-watching, etc. The landlord (me) has animals on the property (chickens and sheep and rabbits) so those areas are off-limits, as well as the area around the main house and the other unit on the property, but otherwise there's plenty of space to walk and explore and enjoy nature here. We're a 5 minute drive from drug stores and Starbucks, but miles away from urban life. The ideal tenant will have good credit, stable verifiable work history, be a good fit for the unit, and be a good fit for the people living here now (myself and my family, and our other tenant). This property is ONLY listed on the Zillow network. 12 or 18 month lease, tenant pays flat rate electric and heating ($50); water and trash and base internet included in rent.
