Come to a fully furnished duplex home (with utilities included) in a country setting. A sturdy barn is now an amazingly awesome duplex, completed in May 2021. Enjoy the rustic style inside, with 10' ceilings, huge sliding barn doors, a farm sink & a barrel bar, & a hall tree re-purposed as a bathroom vanity. Each unit has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a private entrance & a private back sitting area. It is situated off the road, and overlooks rolling horse pastures, a serene pond, and 'the' big red barn! -This is a SHORT TERM rental unit. The maximum stay is 60 days. It is fully furnished with utilities included. -Absolutely no smoking inside the home! Ashtrays are provided for smoking outside. -PETS: Please tell us if you would like to bring Fido. We will consider 1 spayed or neutered dog. Pet fee is $15/night. THERE WILL BE A $250.00 FEE, PER PET, if pets are in the home without prior approval. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds. -TV: Local channels & a Firestick are provided. You must use your personal account(s) for access to Netflix, Sling, ESPN, Amazon, etc. -Do not leave the doors open. Do not smoke inside & open windows or doors! -This home is on a septic system; do NOT put grease or food items down the kitchen drain. Cans are provided (underneath the sink) for grease disposal. -Do NOT put ladies' feminine items, diapers, baby wipes, or paper towels in the toilets. Place these items in the trash can. -TRASH: Trash cans are located at the driveway entry. Put all trash in the large cans, as no recycling service is offered. Pour out liquids in the sink before disposing of containers-Do NOT put liquids in the cans!! -No fires (inside or out) or fire-pits are allowed on the property. No firearms or shooting are allowed on the property. -Mail & package delivery: This home is not intended to be your primary residence. Note that the mailbox is shared, and we will not be held responsible for mail & package delivery! If you need critical items to be delivered, & are unwilling to obtain a post office box, do not request to stay at this home. -No parties! Quiet time begins at 10:30 pm every evening. No more than 2 private vehicles (per unit) are allowed on the property after this time (no commercial vehicles, buses, or RVs are allowed). $250 fee will be accessed if the law enforcement is called to this location. -If you are staying in the home for more than 30 days, we will need access to change the air filters on a monthly basis. -A fire extinguisher is located in the kitchen. -You agree that your lease/rental agreement/right to stay in the home is immediately invalidated if you violate any of the above rules, or if law enforcement is called to the property. This is a vacation rental agreement under the North Carolina Vacation Rental Act (NCGS Ch 42A). The rights & obligations of the parties to this agreement are defined by law & include unique provisions permitting the disbursement of rent prior to tenancy and expedited eviction of tenants. Payment of money, and/or taking possession of the property after receipt of this agreement, is evidence of your acceptance of the agreement and your intent to use this property for a vacation and/or short term rental. Check-out is 11am on the last day of your rental agreement. A $100.00 cleaning fee will be deducted from your deposit.
