    Spacious, newly renovated 1 bedroom with upstairs main level with a deck with a great view, smaller office room, and downstairs mud room, and a storage basement/laundry room. 2 minute drive to island amenities, 25 minute drive to downtown Burlington. Recent upgrades include a completely new bathroom and replacement of all carpeting, new refrigerator, EV charging station in the car port, new oven, a new roof, some new windows, and combo heat pump/air conditioning units in the living room and basement, though there is still a large installed kerosene heater if you prefer to supplement on extremely cold days. The property has a roughly 6 acre yard with another 14 acres of wild field (previous tenants used the field for cross-country skiing), with a few gardens scattered around, and secret nooks to explore. There are three separate buildings - two houses (one rental, one with onsite landlord for instant attention to any issues), and a recording studio building which is laughably overly soundproofed, so will not disturb tenants. Tenant gets one carport space, and the driveway is a U shaped roundabout with a separate entrance and exit and large main area, so there's plenty of parking space and room for everybody to maneuver. It says there's a full bathroom, but it should be noted that while the shower is large, there is no tub. Landlord pays for garbage/recycling, and plowing. No sewer or water charge because there is a septic system and well for water. Tenants responsible for cable/internet, electricity, propane for stove, and kerosene for heater if wanted (the main source of heat being the heat pump). Cats are ok, but no dogs please. *Electricity on the Island is expensive. Please keep in mind you could pay over $300/month sometimes for your electric bill during the winter, and calculate that into your monthly expenses.
