New Harbor is the hub for all that is Pemaquid. Close to hand you have the lighthouse, the beach, the ancient Fort William Henry, two harbors, the public boat launch, several fine eateries, and Muscongus Bay to the east with Johns Bay to the west. The area is known for its period Mansard homes and this 1890 restored and updated version overlooks New Harbor.
