The space Welcome to The Desert Kingsley We JUST reopened our doors after an incredible summer upgrading the property! @the_desert_kingsley We're Kim and Jeff, and The Desert Kingsley is our little piece of the Mojave. We wanted fun, space, privacy, and the freedom to just be together. So we built it. Five acres of desert, old trees, mountains in the distance, and a night sky that makes you stop what you're doing and look up. Over time, we've turned it into the kind of place we'd want to escape to with our own family and friends. Somewhere you can spread out, slow down, have a little fun, and actually spend time together. Days here tend to happen at their own pace. Make coffee and take it outside in the morning. Cool off in the pool when the desert heats up. Challenge someone to a game of pool or ping pong. Throw dinner on the grill as the sun starts to disappear behind the mountains. Then pour a drink in the bar, climb into the hot tub, light the fire pit and see how many stars you can spot. And because the entire five acres are fenced, it really does feel like you have your own little desert world while you're here. THE HOUSE The Desert Kingsley has 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and plenty of indoor and outdoor space for groups of up to 10. This is a place where we want you to kick your shoes off, play music, cook together, laugh too loudly and make yourself at home. You'll have central A/C and heat, additional climate control, Starlink Wi-Fi, advanced reverse osmosis system supplies clean, alkaline optimized water throughout the property, and all the comforts you need when you're ready to come inside. OUR FAVORITE PART: OUTSIDE This is really why we love the property. There's an above ground pool for hot desert afternoons, a hot tub for cool nights, a BBQ for sunset dinners and a fire pit for the part of the evening when nobody is quite ready to go inside. But the best amenity isn't something we installed. It's the sky. Wonder Valley gets wonderfully dark at night, and sitting outside underneath a sky full of stars is still one of our favorite things to do here. A LITTLE ABOUT THE LOCATION We're tucked away in Wonder Valley, where things feel quiet and wonderfully removed, but you're not far from everything you came to the desert to experience. The Palms one of our favorite quirky desert spots. It's close enough to walk to! Downtown Twentynine Palms is about 15 minutes away, and the east entrance of Joshua Tree National Park is roughly 18 minutes from the house. So you can spend the day exploring Joshua Tree, grab dinner or drinks in town, and then come home to your own five acres. WHO WE BUILT THIS PLACE FOR Families piling into the car for a desert adventure. Friends celebrating birthdays. Couples escaping the city. People who haven't seen each other enough lately. Kids with room to run around. Dogs sniffing every corner of the property. And anyone who could use a few days with fewer schedules and more sunsets. It's our desert home, and while you're here, we hope it feels a little like yours too. Access to the property is through one of two gates secured with a passcode lock. All utilities, pool service and cleaning, and pest control are included. No smoking is allowed. Property comes fully furnished. Minimum 6 month lease.
