Haden's Tavern in Hadensville, VA was founded in c. 1820 but is an amalgam of several periods with original structures built in the 1770s and its principal section today having the form of a two-story, frame, center-passage house of the 1850s. The Haden’s Tavern stood on what is now Three Chopt Road which was used by the coaches of the Southwestern Line of the U.S. Mail to link Milledgeville, Georgia and Fredericksburg, Virginia.
