    *Monthly rent is a flat fee that covers all utilities including electricity, internet, water and recycling, trash, and some streaming services. For rent in Bloomington's beautiful Inverness Woods neighborhood on the east side: a fully renovated, fully furnished, mid-century modern 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment in the lower level of our home. The apartment is approximately 2,400 square feet and features a full kitchen with premium appliances, an open floor plan, and abundant natural light. It is fully isolated and soundproofed, with a private entrance, separate key set, and ample driveway parking. We originally renovated the space in 2019 as a luxury Airbnb after purchasing the home, but later decided we would prefer to rent it to long-term tenants. The apartment is available starting mid-May and is offered with either a one-year lease or a month-to-month option. Rent includes all utilities, including electricity, trash and recycling, high-speed internet, and water, as well as over $50 in premium cable and streaming services, including Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, Amazon Prime, and Peacock. This means no utility setup, no separate monthly bills, and a more predictable fixed monthly cost. The home is fully electric, and winter electric bills can run as high as $600. The main living area features an open layout with dedicated living, dining, office, and kitchen spaces. The kitchen includes an island bar with quartz countertops, an oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and Berkey water filtration system. The furnished main living area includes a pull-out sofa, entertainment center with a large smart TV, a vintage tulip dining table and chairs, and an office desk and chair. The primary bedroom includes a closet, egress window, king-size bed, end tables, and a vintage credenza. The second bedroom is smaller but also has a closet and egress window, and is furnished with queen-size bunk beds and a vintage dresser. The bathroom is spacious and includes a shower but no bathtub. The apartment also has direct access to a shared laundry room and a large shared storage room measuring 12 by 12 feet. The photos included were taken when we first completed the renovation. Some of the furniture and the layout have changed since then, but tenants are welcome to rearrange the space to suit their needs. Updated photos will be available once the current tenant moves out, or you can message to schedule a tour. Although the apartment is furnished, there is still room for some of your own furniture, and we may also be open to discussing removal of some or all of the existing furnishings. Rent includes all utilities, including high-speed internet, electricity (the home is fully electric), trash and recycling, and water, with a combined value of over $200 per month. It also includes complimentary access to streaming services including Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max, Disney+ and Peacock.
