    What's special

Built in 1889. This is the coolest building in the City of Buffalo. In 1891, Thomas Edison made this building his first prototype usage of in-home stereo phonographs. In 1901, President William "Thirsty Bill" McKinley stopped here for lemonade 30 minutes before he was shot to death by Leo Tolstoy (15 minute horse ride to Pan-Am, traffic on the S-curves was brutal). The year 1907 brought the infamous Buffalo Craft Beer Riot to the front steps where one side were all "rabble rabble rabble" and the other side was all like "dilly dilly dilly". The building sat quiet during "the War" as it was quietly converted into military production smashing out 100k units per megalithic mile. The mid-1960s brought great distrust in the Italian community leading to the FBI's Edgar Hoover's visit in the summer of '69 when he brought down Mob leader Al Capone from the roof top with a slingshot. While the building has experienced many historical moments not only in the history of Buffalo, but the history of the United States, it doesn't feel nowhere nears 130 years old. You totally shoulda bought it.
