What the owner loves about this home
One of the things we’ve appreciated most about this home is how peaceful it feels while still being close to everything we need. Being set far back from the road with surrounding trees and open space gives the property a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that’s hard to find.
The great room and kitchen have been the heart of the home for us. The natural light coming through the wall of windows changes beautifully throughout the day, and the open layout has worked incredibly well for both everyday living and hosting family and friends.
We also loved designing the space to be practical and comfortable long term — from the radiant heated floors in the kitchen and great room, to the oversized island, large cellar space with high ceilings, and the amount of parking and garage space rarely found in the area.
Another thing that has made this location special is the convenience. Even though the property feels private and tucked away, we’re still close to shopping, restaurants, commuter routes, and the Chappaqua Train Station when heading into the city.
